Pat Morrissey/Havlin has been a student of astrology since 1968 when, as a reporter, she was sent to an astrology class to "debunk" astrology. However, teacher Olga Chalaire, a "rely on the basics" Capricorn, convinced her of its validity, and Pat remained a student of Mrs. Chalaire's until her death in 1981 at the age of 84. A past president of SFAA, Pat has been active in the organization since its beginning. She has also been a member of AFAN since she was present at its birth in Chicago. Pat is a Leo with Taurus rising and a Libra moon.
