Lynne Hyde has been a passionate student of astrology for over 32 years. In her earliest college days she did astrological research under a professor's guidance who was also an astrologer. She wrote her own program of study and received college credit in astrology, which was highly unusual for the times. Lynne comes from a hereditary lineage of astrology, as both grandparents on her mother's side were metaphysicians and astrologers. This she feels, has helped to give her an instinctual appreciation and gift for the art.

After studying extensively with astrologers in New York and Philadelphia, Lynne completed studies in advanced astrology, here in Miami, at the "Astrological and Metaphysical Research Center". She became certified by the school as a teacher of basic astrology and has been teaching astrology for the last 12 years, while counseling people privately, utilizing her astrological understanding. Lynne's pathway has led into the study of the lunar cycle and it's eight phases. She regularly watches the unfoldment of the monthly phases and uses her understanding to assist herself and others to work with the rhythms of the natural lunar flow. She has held many monthly presentations for women based on the 8 phases of the lunation cycle. Currently she is a secretary for the South Florida Astrological Association and serves as treasurer for the local NCGR chapter, which is a chapter of a large national astrological organization . Lynne also holds CAP certification. Traveling to astrological conventions, which she does yearly, has been an inspiring way of keeping up with the latest astrological research.

Lynne and her husband are the creators of the "Hyde Orrery" which is a three dimensional model of the planets, sun and moon, which give a realistic, astronomical picture of the natal chart. Her husband, a craftsman, developed the Orrery for Lynne to teach with. The unique, artistic model has served greatly to help new students visualize the planetary system and has been a product that they have been selling to her students and other astrologers for the past 8 years.

Lynne, also a registered nurse, combines her extensive background in Psychiatric nursing with astrology and councils individuals on a wide range of subjects. Having a deep reverence and respect for the science of cycles, she wants to teach others to understand as well as to speak the articulate and revealing language of astrology.
